Bonita Jean Dolan Holloway passed on to eternal life on Friday Dec. 5, 2014. She was born in Munising, MI, on Aug 5, 1935, and was the oldest of three children born to Patrick and Pearl (Leese) Dolan. She was a nursing graduate of St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing, Marquette, MI. Her earlier years as a nurse included working for hospitals and doctors offices. She found her life's calling as being a Methodist Minister's wife. She enjoyed this title as she faithfully loved and supported the ministry of her late husband, Rev. Huie Holloway. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and "really really great-grandmother". Grandma Bonnie, as her great grandsons called her, described her as fun. They have fond memories of her; She would always treat them to their favorite restaurant Po' Folks, trips down to the Bay, and take them on special excursions to the Dollar General where they would buy a sweet treat or two. She had an energetic and tenacious attitude towards life. She loved her family very deeply and believed that helping them in any way was the greatest gift she could give. She is survived by her; daughter, Emily Hutt (William) of Lynn Haven; granddaughters, Letitia Sartin (Matt) of Pittsburg PA., Victoria DeChellis (Garret) of Callaway, Alexandria Everhart (Todd) of Lynn Haven, and Selena Hutt of Lynn Haven; great-grandsons, Benjamin and Zachary Sartin, Ezra Dechellis, Connor and Jackson Everhart, and Malachi Savage; sister, Patricia Masters (Richard) of Munising MI., and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church with Rev. Karen Devaisher and Rev. Cathy Byrd officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rev. Huie Holloway Scholarship Fund, c/o Lynn Haven United Methodist Church, 4501 Transmitter Rd, Panama City, FL 32404 or to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Bonita Holloway.
