Mrs. Boncile George Byrd, 91 of Panama City died Thursday, February 11, 2010. She was the widow of Charles A. Byrd and the daughter of C. A. and Annie Lou Lee George. Mrs. Byrd was born in Holmes County, Florida and was a long time resident of Panama City. As a child she was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and in later years, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Panama City. She is survived by two brothers, Walter B. George and Ralph George. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Byrd will be buried along side her husband in Barrancas National Cemetery at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola. A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 16th at 1:00 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
