Bobby Ray Bolton, 81, of Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. He was born on January 20, 1938 in Columbus, GA to John and Addie Bolton. After graduating from Jordan High School in 1958, Bobby moved to Panama City Beach from Columbus, Georgia and started classes at Gulf Coast Community College while working at the Old Dutch Hotel. Bobby thoroughly enjoyed spending his time with friends and family, babysitting his grand dog, Cooper, along with taking short trips to Biloxi. He was a retired Police officer for the Panama City Beach Police Department. After retirement, he went to work for the State Attorney Office. He was a former Panama City Beach Commissioner and Panama City Beach Civil Service Board Member. Bobby was a member of the Shaddai Shriner Temple and the Bay County Historical Society. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lise Huneau Bolton; three sisters, Mildred Trammell, Mary Elizabeth Bolton and Johnnie Meryle Bolton. He is survived by his son, Robert "Robby" Ray Bolton, his daughter, Beth Bolton; companion, Pam Ryburn; two grandchildren, Riley Grace Bolton, Jonathan Keith Vickers; three sisters, Betty Whitehead, Linda Adams, Peggy Fuller; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Monday June 17, 2019 at 11 am in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 am prior to the service.
