Blondell Wright, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver went home to be with the Lord on Mother's Day, May 8, 2022.  In addition to being a dedicated Sunday School teacher, Blondell was also known for her faithful leadership of the women's ministry and for the young ladies' Missionettes and Stars programs in various Assembly of God churches in Panama City.  Blondell was also a founding member of the Teen-Timers Social Club of Panama City.

Blondell was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years Bobby Wright and their son Shawn Wright, and their daughter Dawn Wright.  Blondell is survived by her son Reese Wright (Angie), her daughter Maria Kirksey and grandchildren Thomas Kirksey, Brian Kirksey, Aaron Kirksey, Hope Wright, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14th at Wilson Funeral Home in Panama City at 2:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m.
