BLONDELL GRACE BARR

Grace Barr, 82, of Panama City, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 in her home. She was born October 19, 1928 in Coffee County, Alabama to Alvie & Matha McIntosh. She was a member of Central Pentecostal Church, where she attended the Golden Harvesters Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Dean Barr and two brothers, Clem McIntosh and Douglas McIntosh. She is survived by her husband, James D. Barr, Jr; two sons, Jimmy Barr and wife Kathy, Mike Barr and wife Evelyn; six grandchildren, Chris Barr and wife Kristen, Craig Barr, Kevin Barr and fiancé, Heidi Goodwiller, McKenzie Barr, Tyler Barr, Mary Beth Barr; two brothers, G.H. McIntosh and wife Reba and Clyde McIntosh and wife Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Central Pentecostal Church with Rev. Don Shoots and Rev. T.A. Green officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Enterprise, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to your favorite charity in memory of Grace Barr. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Chris, Craig, Kevin, Tyler and Matthew Bruhn. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Golden Harvesters Sunday School Class.
