Billy Joe Adams Sr., 80, of Panama City, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016.  He was born March 12, 1936 in Crestview, FL. to William Jackson Adams and Nancy Barlow Adams.  He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was the retired co-owner of Adams-Shumaker Construction Company.   He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Joe Adams Jr.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Fuson Adams, two sons, Donald Adams (Shelley); Jerry Adams (Christi); daughter-in-law, Kathy Adams; nine grandchildren, Morgan Schisler (Kyle), Nick Adams (Justina), Ben Adams, Madison Adams, Cory Adams, Cody Adams, Chase Adams, Maci Adams, Grady Adams; four great grandchildren, Trinity Adams, Lilly Adams, Nolan Adams, Cash Adams; four brothers, Paul Adams (Lillie), Eugene Adams (Barbara), Roland Adams (Faye), Donald Adams (Linda) and numerous nieces and nephews.   Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Jones officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens with military honors conducted by the United States Marine Corp.
