Billy Joe Adams Jr.
Billy Joe Adams Jr., 53, of Panama City, formerly of Crystal Lake, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014 in a local hospital. He was born May 27, 1960 in Panama City. He was a 1978 graduate of Mosley High School. He had worked in the metal building construction for over 27 years. He was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed playing the guitar. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Curti Adams; three children, Cory Adams, Cody Adams, Chase Adams; granddaughter, Trinity Adams; his parents, Billy Joe & Barbara Adams Sr.; two brothers, Donald Adams and wife, Shelley, Jerry Adams and wife, Christi; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick McClung and Rev. Mike Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9-10 a.m. Friday prior to the service. Private family interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to Gideon's International, P.O. Box 685, Panama City, FL 32402 in memory Billy Joe Adams Jr. Gideon's memorial donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
