Beverly Lewis, 80, a life long resident of Panama City, passed into the arms of her Savior on April 10, 2025 with her loving family by her side.
Born on June 6, 1944, Beverly lived a life rooted in faith, devoted to God and her family, and guided by the teachings of the Holy Bible. She was a faithful prayer warrior and dedicated member of Gospel Lighthouse Church. Beverly found joy in prayer, strength in scripture and peace in the promise of eternal life. She loved telling people about Jesus and the miracles He fulfilled in her life. Beverly even wrote a short story inspired by the song, "He's Still Workin' On Me" to share the love of Jesus with others.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cubie and Jacqueline Hicks and sister, Sherry Arrant.
Beverly will be greatly missed, but her family and friends are at peace knowing she is now in her heavenly home rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior. She is survived by her son, Kevin Lewis, brother-in-law, Ken Arrant, two nieces, Sheryl (Roger) Bradley and Alison (Al) Sutsko, two great nieces, Rev. Karah Bradley and Micaela Mae Sutsko, two great nephews, Kenny (Victoria) Bradley and Brannon Sutsko, Uncle Joe Hutchison, Aunt Martha Hutchison, Uncle Dan Hutchison, countless cousins and special friends, especially Ms. Karen Creamer.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm CST at Greenwood Cemetery, West 17th & Lisenby Avenue, Panama City, FL.
Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home of Panama City, FL.
