Betty Jean Walsh, 84, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014. She was born on December 4, 1929 in Quincy, Florida. She was a devout Christian and lifelong member of the Millville Advent Christian Church. She was a loving mother and dedicated wife, committed to the nurturing and well-being of the extended family. Her interests included many quilting and sewing projects and playing games with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. Walsh; her brother, Maurice Marchant; and sister, Rauzelle Spann. She is survived by her three children, Diane Reinstatler (Rick) of Lynn Haven, Roger Walsh (Julia), Brian Walsh (Christine) all of Tallahassee; five grandchildren, Kirsten Sears (Kevin), Matthew Reinstatler (Stella), Lindsey Money (Phillip), Joshua Walsh, Kaley Walsh; six great grandchildren, Marriam Reinstatler, Jannah Reinstatler, Kamryn Sears, Kendall Sears, Dylan Walsh, Kaden Walsh; one brother, Buran Marchant (Dorothy) of Culver City, CA; two sisters, Evelyn Burk of Murrieta Springs, CA, Dorothy McNeill of Overland Park, KS; one brother-in-law, Charles Walsh (Mary) of Panama City Beach; one sister-in-law, Sue Parker (Jerry) of Panama City; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Buchanan officiating. Interment will follow in the Parker Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4 – 6 p.m.
