Betty Jean Singletary, 95, of Panama City, passed away on January 27, 2023.  She was born May 23, 1927 in Vredenburgh, Alabama.  She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady & Nellie Arnold; her husband, S.I. Singletary; son, Robert "Bobby" Singletary, brother, William Arnold and a sister, Mary Alice Markham.  She is survived by two children, Mickey Singletary, Shannon Battenfield; six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
