Betty Carol Lee Keen, 77, of Youngstown, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. She was born on June 29, 1936 in Montgomery, Alabama. She was a 1954 graduate of Bay High School. She was a member of St. Andrew Baptist Church, where she attended Joan Carr's Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bryan Keen, Sr. She is survived by her four children, Bryan (Lark), Steve, Carl Otis (Beverly), Leamon (Angie); ten grandchildren, Kristina, Chris, Steven, Kaylen, Brianna, Anna (Michael Dillard), Matt, Chase, Jake (Brandy), Jenny; five great grandchildren, Klayton, Payton, Briley, Jackson Otis, Hayden; one sister, Margaret Ann Johnson (Leamon); one sister-in-law, Avis; and five nieces and three nephews, Peggy, Emma, Nan, Robby, Roger, Dell, Gina and Natalie. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 24 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Betty Keen. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.
