January 10, 1927 - August 5, 2017

Betty Tenhundfeld Johnson, 90, a well-known Bay County artist went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 5, 2017.  She was born on January 10, 1927, in Atlanta, Georgia, and has made Panama City her home for the last 56 years.  Betty was and is well loved by everyone who knew her.  She was a member of the Panama City Artist Association and the Red Hat Society.  She is predeceased by her first husband, Donald Tenhundfeld and her sons, Gary Tenhundfeld and Michael Johnson. She will be sorely missed by her husband of 25 years, Fletcher Johnson, brother, Tom (Barbara) Jackson, sons, David Tenhundfeld, Paul (Colette) Johnson, George "Spoody" Johnson, and David (Judy) Cayce; daughters, Leslie (Randy) Emerson, Cathy (Charlie) Peterson, and Beth Cayce, nieces, Denise (Jay) Cannon and Elizabeth (Michael) Chambliss, and numerous grand and great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews.  Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Anthony Of St. Dominic's Catholic Church Officiating. In lieu of flowers Betty requested donations be made to the Bay County Humane Society and Animal Shelter.
