Betty Stapp Holt, 79, of Panama City, died Saturday, August 1, 2009 in her home. She was born on December 6, 1929 in Aliceville, AL. She attended Huntington College and was named Woman of the Year in 1969. She also worked for Dr. Dixon McCloy and Dr. Ted Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. William Stapp and a beautiful granddaughter, Amanda Brooke Holt. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Daniel Webster Holt; 3 sons, Danny Holt; Bill Holt and wife, Cindy; David Holt and fiancée Ann Henry. She was a proud grandmother of 5, Natalie Danburg and husband, Jay; Danielle Heller and husband, Micka; Ashlyn Holt, Haley Holt, Logan Holt; 2 great grandchildren, Jackson Brooks Danburg and Sophie Brook Heller. A private family service will be held later in the week. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to favorite charity of your choice in memory of Betty Holt.
