BETTY CHANCEY DOSS
Betty Chancey Doss, 80, of Panama City, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. She was born on March 23, 1933 in Chipley, Florida. She was a member of the St. Andrew Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas P. Doss, Jr. and son, Thomas Clay Doss. She is survived by her two children, Elizabeth Diane McCormick, Thomas Calvin Doss (Pam); five grandchildren, Stacy L. McCormick, Amanda B. McCormick, Lauryn E. Doss, Christopher Doss, Jana Doss; and two great grandchildren, Blake T. McCormick, Cole T. McCormick. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. Active pallbearers will be Blake T. McCormick, Jason Roper, James Roper, Jason "Little Jay" Roper and Robert Withey.
