Betty Joyce Darling Murfee. 96, of Panama City, FL passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023. She was born on November 9, 1926 in Decatur, Illinois to Elizabeth May Dowers and Otis Albert Darling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Buell Murfee; her parents; the father who raised her, Dwight Russell Flenner; one brother, William O. Darling and one sister-in-law, Lois Darling. She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Murfee Corrington (Robert), Paula J. Murfee; two grandchildren, Bradley Morian (Sara), Amanda Morian; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. And Jan. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 2pm in the Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Carl Fountain officiating. The family will received friends at Wilson Funeral Home from 12:30-1:30 pm prior to the service.
