Benton O'Neal Dorman, 84, of Panama City, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, December 22, 2008 at suppertime. He was born July 13, 1924 in Campbellton , FL. He was a retired bridge tender for the State of Florida. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He loved to garden. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Hayward Dorman, Robert Dorman, Roy Dorman, Hallie Dorman, Hubert Dorman, Lurene Austin, Martha Lee Smith, Marie Dorman and a great grandson, Caden Walker. He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Dorman, 4 children, Marsha Walker and husband, Kenneth of Panama City; Lucretia Harlow of Marianna, FL; Katrina Roberts of Panama City; Gary Dorman and wife, Melody, of Panama City; 4 grandchildren, Aaron Walker and wife, Jackie; Donnie Roberts, Jason Harlow, Misty Walker; great grandson, Merrick Harlow; brother, Billy Joe Dorman and wife, Thelma of Panama City; sister, Ruth Ferguson and husband, Bob of Orlando, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dewey Myers and Rev. Fred Lowry officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the cemetery.
