Barbara Cook Thomas, 71, passed away on January 17, 2024 after a brief illness.  She was born in 1952 in Norfolk, Virginia, and spent most of her life in Panama City, graduating from Bay High School in 1970, and working as an administrative secretary at Oscar Patterson Elementary School for many years.  She was predeceased by her father, Buford Cook; her mother, Helen Cook; her brother, Willard 'Ray' Cook; and her brother, James Cook.  She is survived by her husband, William 'Bill' Thomas; her daughter, Jennifer Thomas; her brother, John Cook (Diane); as well as numerous relatives and loved ones.

A remembrance ceremony will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 1:30-5:30 pm at the Southerland Event Center, Lynn Haven, FL. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.

We will miss her every day.
