Barbara Rickards Warren (Bobbie), 81, of Panama City, Florida passed from this life at home on June 30, 2019 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Bobbie was born in Carrabelle, FL on August 21, 1937.
She married Sam Douglas Warren (Doug) on January 2, 1960 at Grace Baptist Church in Panama City, FL and was a lifelong resident of Panama City.
Bobbie retired from Bay District Schools then returned to teach piano at Tommy Smith Elementary School later in life. She attended Emerald Coast Fellowship Church and played the hand bells at Messiah Lutheran Church.
Bobbie was a dedicated mother to her four children and grandchildren. She loved her church, playing the piano, sewing, and reading. She enjoyed learning throughout her life. She was a faithful servant of Christ, she was loving, she was strong, and she was wise.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Pearl Rickards, husband of 45 years, Doug Warren, Sisters and Brothers Ellen Rickards Pettit, Jessie Rickards, and Claude Rickards. She is survived by her Sister June Rickards Britt Veatch, four children, Sam Douglas Warren, Jr. (Donna), Glenn Paul Warren, Edward Andrew Warren (Eddy) and Sharron Warren Hobbs (Randall) and six Grandchildren: Nathan Hobbs (Darlene), Sarah Warren, Cheyenne Warren, Faith Warren, Kyle Warren, Ryan Warren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at Eastside Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm. Interment will follow in the Lynn Haven Cemetery.
