Barbara Louise Owens, 78, of Chipley, FL passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. She was born on August 4, 1943 in Tampa, FL to Pete and Maude Lamkin. She worked as a cashier for many retail stores. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Donald Owens; one daughter, Vickey Richardson; two brothers, Bubba Lamkin, Douglas Lamkin; one sister, Anne Amex and her parents. She is survived by four children, William Donald Owens Jr (Jean), Carol Sue Waltermate, Charles Edward Owens (Neta), Patrick Steven Owens; fourteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren; one sister, Myrtle Lamkin; one brother, Cecil Lamkin; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
