Barbara "Bobbye" Cotton Kochevar, 82, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015. She was born March 16, 1933 in Millville, Florida to Bernice & Theresa Pledger Cotton. She was a 1952 graduate of Bay High School. She was an employee for over 35 years at Bay Bank and Trust and retired as a trust officer. She also worked as a bookkeeper for Dr. Gerald Harrison and the Harrison Family Trust. She was a past president and longtime member of the Pilot International Inc. She was a very giving person having served on many charitable organizations fundraising campaigns. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Panama City and loved Jesus and taught her family to do the same. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis James Kochevar Sr.; brother, Dr. Philip Cotton and a sister, Frances Cotton Ford. She is survived by her son, Jim Kochevar (Sherry); two grandchildren, Jamie Kochevar, Jordan Kochevar Hurley (Jennifer); sister-in-law, Salie Brown Cotton and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Hayward Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Monday prior to service. Active pallbearers will be Michael Carroll, Allen Cotton, Paul Edmondson, Larry Hardee, Franklin Harrison and Fred Keller.
