BARBARA MORRIS HIGDON
Barbara Morris Higdon, 78, of Panama City, passed away Monday, June 15, 2009. She was born July 18, 1930 in Daleville, Alabama and was a graduate of Ozark High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City, where she attended the Encouragers Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Ella Morris, sister, Carolyn Eiland Holmes and brother, John Henry Morris. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Higdon, daughter, Suzanne Farrar, son, Robert Higdon, Jr., and two grandchildren, Matthew Farrar and Kendall Farrar. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1200, Panama City, FL 32402 in memory of Barbara Higdon.
