Barbara Bishop

August 8, 1943 – February 17, 2022

After an extended decline from Alzheimer's Dementia, Barbara Bishop passed away on February 17, 2022 in the arms of loving caregivers at BeeHive Homes of Lynn Haven.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Col. (Ret.) James Bond and Clara Bond, and her brother Calvin Cox (POW – Korea) and her former husband Paul Bishop.  She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Bishop (Samuel Bozeman), son Bradley Bishop, and granddaughters Amber Bayer Behm (Richard) and Samantha Bishop, and great grandson Ty Bayer.

After raising her children, she was employed with various local businesses as a salesperson/clerk, and also as a personal caregiver to elderly people suffering from long-term illnesses.

She was a proud descendant of the Mashburn family and will be buried between her mother's grave and her brother's monument in a graveside service to be held at the Mashburn Cemetery at 11:00 am on Friday, February 25, 2022.
