Barbara Auriti, 82, of Panama City Beach, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side.

Barbara was born on February 5, 1939, in Manhattan, New York, to Ernest and Anne Papendick. She worked for State Farm Insurance Company – Auto Claims Office for 35 years. She was a parishioner at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dominick A. Auriti, her parents; three brothers, Ernest Papendick, Donald Papendick, and Jonathan Papendick. She is survived by three children, Donna Merchant (Mark), Franco Auriti (Barbara) and Lisa Rossman (Scott); five grandchildren, Jeremy Merchant, Logan Merchant (Melissa), Blake Auriti (Ashley), Garrett Auriti, and Devon Auriti (Taylor); six great-grandchildren, Lily Merchant, Addison Auriti, Dominick Auriti, Casen Auriti, Carsyn Auriti and Camden Auriti. She is also survived by a sister, Irene "Madison" Wienert and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara truly had a servant's heart.  She loved cooking, especially for others, music, singing, and dancing. She was very loved by all who met her.

Visitation will be held from 10 -11 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Panama City Beach, Florida, Saturday, February 5, 2022, with a funeral mass to follow. A celebration of life reception will take place in the parish hall after the service.
