Barbara Fuson Adams, 81, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 25, 2024. She was born October 4, 1942, in Houston, Texas. She spent most of her life in Florida while keeping a special place in her heart for Texas. Barbara enjoyed doing bookwork for family businesses for decades and truly enjoyed helping anyone whenever possible. She deeply loved her family and was very thankful for them. One of her favorite things to do was to tell others about Jesus. She was always faithful to kindly ask people if they knew Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior and to give them a little Gideons Bible.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Billy Joe Adams Sr., a son, Billy Joe Adams Jr., her parents and siblings. She is survived by two sons, Donald Adams (Shelley), Jerry Adams (Christi); nine grandchildren, Cory Adams, Cody Adams, Chase Adams, Morgan Schisler (Kyle), Nick Adams, Ben Adams (Brittany), Madison Adams, Grady Adams, Maci Adams; six great-grandchildren, Trinity Adams, Lilly Adams, Nolan Adams, Cash Adams, Landon Schisler, Rowan Adams (plus twin babies on the way that she was very happy about) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Bay County Council on Aging, 1116 Frankford Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401 in memory of Barbara Adams.
