AUDREY NIX SHEA
Audrey Nix Shea, 92, of Panama City Beach, died Thursday, March 19, 2009. She was born October 24, 1916 and had been a resident of the Bay County area for over 30 years. She was active in church work, was Past President of the Georgia ABWA Women's Club, was past Chaplain of the Panama City Beach Garden Club and was a lifetime member of the Panama City Beach Civic Club. She was a great person and liked everyone and everyone liked her. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Peter Shea; 2 daughters, Brenda Broome, Janey Coxwell; 2 stepsons, Richard Shea, Jack Shea; sister, Ida Chambers; 6 grandchildren, 1 step grandson and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 – 5 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to the Gulf View United Methodist Church, 232 Rose Lane, Panama City Beach, FL 32413 in memory of Audrey Shea.
