ARNOLD J. WINSLETT
Arnold J. Winslett, 89, of Panama City, passed away on February 3, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 22, 1924 in Roanoke, Alabama to Arnold J. &Eula Winslett. Mr. Winslett served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Gloria Jean; 2 brothers, Milton Winslett, Marvin Winslett and a sister, Addie Mae Sockwell. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elouise Winslett of Panama City; 2 sons, Thomas Winslett and wife Toni of Loganville, GA, David Winslett of Panama City; 2 grandchildren, Brett Winslett of Athens, GA, Heather Beverly and husband Mark of Braselton, GA; great grandson, Case Beverly; 2 sisters, Ruenette Sewell of Douglasville, GA, Linda Davis of Blairsville, GA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 6 at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Moore officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Tate, Andy Rhodes, David Rushchmann, Ron Dubke, Don Taylor and Bob Wooden.
