Argie Calloway Garrison left this world peacefully on May 31, 2017.
She was born in Malone, FL on October 18, 1924. She was a longtime resident of Panama City working and retiring from the Bay County School Board after 27 years of service. She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alva of 72 years. She is survived by one daughter, Regina Garrison Blair (Joey). Grandchildren Jeremy Blair and Amanda Blair Oakes and 5 beautiful Great Grand Children, Jackson Blair and Annabelle Blair, Ava, Grady and Jacob Oakes all of Panama City, Fl. Her sister Audrey Calloway Dalton, nieces Marilyn Sykes (Ken), Joan Cain and Barbara Bell (Mike), Michelle Watkins (Tony), nephews Keith (Diana) and Kevin Calloway.
Suzzanne Norviel and Pamela Sarvis were her special Angels caring for her during her final days.
The funeral will be held on Friday June 2 at Wilson Funeral Home. The family will receive guests at 1:30pm with services at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm. Burial will be at the Garden of Memories on Tyndall Parkway.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Covenant Care Hospice, 107 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405 or to the First United Methodist Church, 903 E 4th St, Panama City, FL 32405 in her memory.
