Archie McLemore 79 of Panama City passed away on Tuesday June 11, 2019. He was originally from Columbia, S.C. and was a graduate of Dreher High School and a was a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps. He studied engineering for 3 years at Clemson University and was a diehard Clemson Tiger. He was a member of Holy Nativity Episcopal Church. Before retirement Archie worked for Belk Hudson's as a Human Relations Manager in Panama City, Brunswick, GA., Asheville, N.C. and Johnson City, TN. Archie was passionate about his family, friends, fishing and Shag. He served as a volunteer usher for the Civic Auditorium and loved the contact with both the people that he served and all the exciting shows and concerts he was privileged to see. Archie is survived by his daughter Melissa and son Archie Furman and a sister Joanne. We will celebrate his life at a memorial service to be held on Thursday June 20 at 10 am at Holy Nativity Episcopal Church. The church is located at 222 North Bonita Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401.
