ARCHIE G. LUGENBEEL JR.
Archie G. Lugenbeel, Jr., 83, of Panama City Beach, died Thursday, December 10, 2009. He was born May 9, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He received his doctorate degree from Southern Illinois University. He was a retired education administrator. He had been a resident of the area for the past 20 years. He was a member of the Unity Church of Panama City, where he served on the board. He was also a member of the Panama City Bop and Shag Club. He is survived by his son, Guy Archer Lugenbeel and wife, Louise and five grandchildren, Laura Ann, Stacy, Guy Jr, Christina and Shelly. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 19 at the Unity Church of Panama City. Those desiring to make memorial donations to the Unity Church, 1764 Lisenby Avenue, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Archie Lugenbeel.
