ARCHIBALD JESSE GAINER
Archibald Jesse Gainer, 79, of Panama City, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008. He was born on November 24, 1928 in Southport and resided there for many years. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam and Korean Wars, retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nell Gainer. He is survived by his two daughters, Renee Gainer and Julie Wilderspin, step daughter, Sandra Arnold, stepson, Harold G. Dybdal, Jr. and wife Becky; three grandchildren, Eric Arnold, LeAnne Hair and husband Patrick, Justin Dybdal and fiancé Stephanie Forrester; three great grandchildren, John Hair, Ashley Hair and Kirstin Arnold; and a sister, Marguerite Brock. There will be no services at his request. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make contributions in Archie's memory may do so to the American Lung Association, 4300 Bayou Blvd, Suite 2, Pensacola, FL 32503.
