Anne Elizabeth Armistead Culpepper passed away April 26, 2017 in her home. She was born on January 15, 1933 in Montgomery, Alabama to Alfred Dana Armistead and Anne (Ewing) Armistead. She graduated from Baker High School in Baker, Florida. On October 21, 1953, she married the love of her life, William Bryant Culpepper in a small country Methodist Church in Holt, Florida. She loved traveling, gardening, ceramics, playing golf, fishing and bowling. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Panama City Country Club. She was employed by Tyndall Air Force Base in procurement and later the Navy Base as mail room manager in charge of all project files. She later qualified as a Logistician and was put in charge of all Navy Seal documentation while employed at ARINC.
She is survived by her husband, William Culpepper; her three brothers, Alfred Dana Armistead, Eugene Reid Armistead, and Robert Stanton Armistead; one sister, Patricia Gardinier; adopted son, Billy Culpepper; former daughter-in-law, Robin Teachout ;two grandchildren, Brandon and Kristy; two great grandchildren; Trenton and Della Norton.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
Although her earthly body is gone she will remain in our hearts forever.
