ANITA L. SMITH
Anita L. Smith, 64, of Panama City, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 in her home. She was born April 24, 1947 in Dothan, Alabama. She was a member of the St. Andrew Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Smith; parents, Purvis & Kate Holley and brother, Emmett Smith. She is survived by her sisters, Sue Newman, of Tallahassee, Patricia Kendall, of Seattle, WA; sister-in-law, Joanne Smith; three step children; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Covenant Hospice in memory of Anita Smith.
