ANITA SAMPSON ROGERS
Anita "Boots" Sampson Rogers, 71, of Lynn Haven, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in her home. She was born April 5, 1941 in Greenville, Texas. Anita was retired from Jim Wilson Insurance Agency, where she was the office manager and an agent. She was preceded in death by her parents, Iris & Iola Sampson and two brothers, Billy Clayton Sampson and Von Ray Sampson. Anita was a member of Central Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Danny Rogers; four siblings, Margaret Wood, Jeannie England (Rick), Sonny Sampson, Carroll Sampson (Brenda); and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bruce Barton officiating. Interment will follow in Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 4001 W 23rd Street, Suite C, Panama City, FL 32405 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Fl 17, Chicago, IL 60601 in memory of Anita Rogers.
