IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Angela Lanelle
Stanaland Dixon
May 9, 1972 – March 6, 2025
Angela Lanelle (Stanaland) Dixon was gently taken to her Heavenly Home on March 6, 2025. Angela is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.
Angela was born on May 9, 1972 in Ft Walton Beach Florida. She followed the Lord in baptism in January of 1991. Angela married her sweetheart at the young age of 19 on August 17, 1991. She graduated with a bachelor degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Spending many years associated with the military as a child and as a military spouse, Angela lived in a number of places including Germany, Texas, Florida, Ohio, and Virginia. After completing her time as a devoted military spouse when her husband retired, Angela and her family lived in Centreville, Virginia. Angela was a member of Old Carroll Primitive Baptist Church, Point of Rocks Maryland. Angela was a beloved wife, precious mother, and faithful sister in the church of Christ Jesus our Lord. She was greatly loved by her family and all who met her.
Angela was a certified elementary school teacher in Texas and Florida helping many students across multiple states. In addition, Angela was a Homeschool Mom for her three children. Angela loved teaching her children and helping other mom's with Homeschooling. Angela embodied the description of Proverbs 31:10-31 with her love for the Lord and devotion to her husband and children. Angela's greatest desire was to raise upright and honorable children to the Lord, which became her greatest achievement. Her children adored and sang praises to their beloved mother. Angela devoted her life to her family; she put them and service to God above everything else.
The beautiful and gentle light Angela brought to the world, a gift from the Lord, shone through dark times and helped guide her family through many storms. She endeavored to faithfully support her husband and helped him build a Christ centered home.
Angela is survived by her loving and adoring husband Brian; her precious children, Kiersten, Amberly, and Christopher; her parents, JC Stanaland and Marchand Liesemeyer; her siblings, Andrea Colvin and Jason Stanaland; and her step siblings Katrina Salva and Jessica Glass.
Angela touched many lives with her kindness and warmth. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
