Obituary

On September 15 th, 2018, Angel and Rachele Garcia shared their wedding vows and committed themselves to each other for better or worse, for the rest of their lives.

Their lives however, were tragically cut far too short as they joined the Lord in Heaven together on September 15 th 2020.  Their last moments were spent traveling to celebrate not only their anniversary, but Rachele's 32nd birthday.

Angel, 34, was born August 6th, 1986 was the biggest believer in community.  He was always the first to offer a helping hand.  He would do anything in his power to improve the lives of those around him.  It didn't matter if he knew you or not, if someone needed help he was there. Angel strived to be the change you want to see. He always set the example not just for his peers, but for his children to teach and guide them to be that same change the world needs.

Rachele, 31, was born September 19 th , 1988, was the brightest light in any room.  Her smile and welcoming arms would draw you in and you'd want to stay for life. Chele was known for giving the best hugs.  There was always so much comfort, love, warmth and protectiveness with every single one.  She always had an open nonjudgmental ear to listen to you.  As well as being there to give supportive advice and to help you find a solution to any situation.  Rachele broke down barriers and always strived to be a better her.  She taught that no matter what you give there, is always more.  Being a mother and a wife was her greatest joy.  She was incredible at it and would always take the time to be silly and have fun.  She was never too busy to play.  Something many of us could learn from.

The impact that Angel and Rachele made will live on in the community, family and friends forever.  We encourage everyone to continue on with their legacy.  Donate to local athletic departments, storm victims, educational programs and charities.  Let's keep their spirit alive.

Life isn't meant to last forever but the memories we make while living are.

Angel's spirit is lived on in his four children, Austin (13), Kaden (11), Zaylee (9), and Lincoln (6), mother and stepfather, Marisol Monroe-Garcia and Howard Monroe; father and stepmother, Heriberto Garcia Jr and Maria Garcia, one sister and two brothers, Martha, Gibert, Eddie Garcia, and many relatives.

Rachele's spirit is lived on in her four children, Austin (13), Kaden (11), Zaylee (9), and Lincoln (6), father and mother, Chuck Shields and Michelle Ewing, step father, David Francisco, three sisters and two brothers, Jackie Shields, Amber Pruitt, Summer Gray, Davidson Francisco, Chazz Schaffrick and many relatives.
