ANDREW TILLEY GAMBLE, JR.
Andrew Tilley "Junior" Gamble, Jr., 79, of Panama City, died Sunday, December 30, 2007 at a local hospital. He was born on May 25, 1928 in Inglebrook, Alabama. He attended schools in Inglebrook and Panama City. He was proprietor of Panama Electric Battery for a number of years, then supervisor for the City of Panama City until his retirement. He was God's Good Humor Man and Baptist by faith. He loved to help others smile. He was reunited with the love of his life Evelyn Holley in 1992 and were able to spend 15 wonderful years as husband and wife. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Tilley Gamble, Sr. and his mother, Katie Patchen Gamble. He is survived by his wife, Clara Evelyn Holley Gamble, children, Linda Diane Pitts, Marie Elaine Powell, Michael Tilley Gamble, and Neta V. Westbrooks, granddaughter, Tammy Marie Lopez. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m.
