Andree Berbiguier Scarbrough

Andree (nickname Dedee) passed away on April 24, 2021 at the age of 94, in her home. She was blessed to have family visit before hand, plus Father Michael of Dominic's to give her, her Last Rites. She was born in Villeneuve Les Avignon, France on December 5, 1926. During WWII she met and married Darnell who was in the Army. They stayed married 62 years and until his death in 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Louise Berbiguier; brother, Raoul Berbiguier and a sister, Josette Vacaris. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She primarily was a stay at home mom, but worked outside of the home when needed. She really could have had a career outside of the home because she was very talented, smart and extremely organized, and she used those skills at home. She was a very religious woman and a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church. She loved family, cooking, gardening, sewing, music and traveling. She is survived by two daughters, Christine Pryor, Frances Carey (Robert); four grandchildren, Alicia Rinehart (Wade), Aaron Smith (Tiffany), Nikki Perkins, Aimee Kennedy (Chris); eight great grandchildren, Makaela & Marla Rinehart, Ethan & Eisley Smith, Austin & Amanda Sullivan, Brienne & Aidan Kennedy; three great- great grandchildren, Karleigh, Kayleigh and Karson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11 am in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10-11 am prior to the service. Interment will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery.  Those desiring may make memorial donations to the National Kidney Foundation in memory of Andree Scarbrough.
