Alice Laverne Evans, 93, of Panama City, FL passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. She was born on June 6, 1930 in Jackson County, FL to Gladys and William Culver. She was a retired preschool teacher at St. Andrew Baptist Church having taught there for over 20 years. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Evans; two sisters, Marie Green, Della Stokes and one brother, Sam Culver. She is survived by two sons, Phillip Evans (Kathryn), Jon Evans (Loree); one granddaughter, Katherine Evans; three sisters, Hazel Hollis, Emily Bailey, Frances Cloud; one brother, Bob Culver (Edith) and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30 ,2024 at 1 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm prior to the service. Interment will be held in the Lovedale Baptist Church Cemetery, Bascom, FL at a later date. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice in memory of Alice Evans.
