Alfonso Tuzinkiewicz, 92, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of devotion to family, dedication to his profession, and a deep love for the simple joys of life.
Born on August 12, 1933, in Argentina, Alfonso carried with him a strong work ethic and quiet determination that shaped the course of his life. He proudly served in the Army from 1959 to 1961, reflecting his sense of duty and commitment to service.
On August 17, 1963, Alfonso married the love of his life, Joan Tuzinkiewicz. Together they built a life grounded in partnership, perseverance, and unwavering support. Their marriage stood as a testament to enduring love and shared values.
Alfonso was a respected Florida Registered Land Surveyor and the proud owner of A. T. Survey, Inc. Through his work, he helped shape communities and landscapes, earning the trust and respect of colleagues and clients alike. He approached his profession with precision, integrity, and pride.
Above all, Alfonso cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Tuzinkiewicz; his sister, Carolina Francisca Tuzinkiewicz; his loving children, George Tuzinkiewicz and Linda Riggins; his daughter-in-law, Diane Tuzinkiewicz; and his son-in-law, David Riggins. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Victoria Tuzinkiewicz, John Riggins, and Angela Riggins, who brought him immense joy.
He is also lovingly remembered by his niece, Natalia Henze, and nephew-in-law, Carlos Carabba; his nephews, Sebastian Henze, Walter Henze, German Henze, Cesar Alfredo Tuzinkiewicz, and Sergio Tuzinkiewicz; and his great-niece, Ana Azul Tuzinkiewicz, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
In his leisure time, Alfonso found peace and happiness in gardening. Whether tending to flowers or cultivating vegetables, he found fulfillment in nurturing growth and watching the fruits of his labor flourish—much like he did with his family.
Alfonso Tuzinkiewicz will be remembered for his steady presence, strong character, and the love he shared so generously. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished and the many lives he touched throughout his years.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig Brannon officiating.
