Alex M. Pitts Jr., 88, of Panama City, FL passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021. He was born on December 4, 1932 in Panama City, FL to Alexander Monroe Pitts Sr. and Ethel Green Pitts. He was a life long resident of Panama City. He was a dedicated member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was a former member of the Convention City Lion's Club, the Lynn Haven Country Club where he was an avid golfer with the  Court House Gang. He was the Court Administrator for the State of Florida for the 14 ^th Judicial Circuit. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty Bryant Pitts and many other loving families and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 11 am in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Moffett and Rev. Blake Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10-11 am prior to the service. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are Gordon Moore, Mike Moore, Chris Williams, Prichard Cutshaw, Royal Murphy, Harold Bazzell, Greg Abrams and James Greene.  Honorary pallbearers are Earl Cochran, Roy Conrad, C.W. Mauldin, Bobby Buchanan, Ed Kelley, Bobby Hicks, Matt Moore, Pat Mathis, James Ray Brookins, Wesley Powell and Jeff Powell.
