Mrs. Alene Poland Patrick, age 81 of Panama City Beach Florida (formally of Rockwood, Tennessee) passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the St. Andrews Health & Rehabilitation Center in Panama City. Mrs. Patrick was of the Baptist Church faith. She was retired from Burlington Industries in Rockwood, Tennessee. Upon Retirement, she and her husband moved to Panama City and opened up the "Taco Inn" and served the patrons of Panama City Beach for many years. She is preceded in death by parents: John & Ola Poland; husband: Paul Lee Patrick; brothers: Paul Ed, Jack, Gene, Buddy; sisters: Lou Wicks, Grace Bullard, Rachel Knowles, Margie Roberts, and Ellen Thompson. She is survived by two Grandchildren: Janice Brady, Mike Patrick; sister; Betty Raffield; brother; Ray Poland; 4 great grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 noon on Wednesday, June 1, 2o16 in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary, Rockwood, Tenn. Funeral will follow at 12 noon with Rev. Norman Mullins, officiating. Interment will be held following services and Mrs. Patrick will be laid to rest in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, Tennessee. There will be no services held in Panama City.
