Obituary

On May 5, 1963, while JFK was in his 3 rd year as President, as marches for equality were occurring daily in Birmingham, Alabama, and when scientists were testing to see if satellites could carry TV transmissions around the globe, a baby boy entered the world in a quiet hospital in Pensacola, Florida . . . to start his life, and to touch the lives of many others.

Albert Todd Pullen, over the course of 54 years with so many who loved him, attained numerous accomplishments, such as graduating from Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville, FL in 1981; graduating from the University of Georgia in 1985 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (While at UGA, Todd lettered in football as a manager assisting his 'Dawgs to many victories on the gridiron), and became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant, practicing for many years in that capacity.

As his life continued, Todd experienced the loss of his mother Janice (Janie) Mansfield Davis followed in years by the loss of his father, Gene Albert Pullen.

Todd knew the pleasure of being a proud father to an amazing son, Gabriel McLeod Pullen.  He experienced security and respect as a husband to a loving and kind wife of 25 years, Paige Cullen Pullen.  The whole of his life included the experiences of a wonderful sister, Melissa Jane Pullen, a great brother, Matthew Madison Pullen, a loving, kind and supportive stepfather, George Michael Davis, and a loving stepmother, Carol Pullen. He was welcomed into the Cullen family by father and mother-in-law, Stephen and Margie Cullen, brothers and sisters-in-law, Carol Leigh McGuffin (Tim), Kenny Cullen (Cissy) and nieces and nephews, Lauren McGuffin Fielding (John), Taylor and Bowen McGuffin, Brody, Garrett, and Danielle Cullen, all of whom now survive him. Todd also knew the love and support of many others he leaves behind—Aunts Betsy Ruth (Chester), Judy McCall, and Diane Blevins; Uncle David Small; many cousins, including Jeremy Small, Chet Ruth (Erica), Robert Blevins, Valerie Blevins, June Gallian; and a sweet nephew, Jason McBurney.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Greenwood Cemetery at 4 pm. A reception will follow to honor and celebrate Todd's life at the Family Life Center, First Baptist Church, Panama City, Florida.

As his only son, Gabriel Pullen (now 12) kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers of condolence, anyone feeling the desire to express compassion, please do so by donating to the fund designated for building a classroom for children with disabilities in Gaborone, Botswana.  The A. Todd Pullen Memorial Classroom will be so named to honor the father he dearly loved.  Donations may be made to:

The family thanks everyone for their kindness and compassion. Gabriel's additional request is to remember "Daddy" in love and celebration, serve the Lord, Jesus Christ, and live life to its fullest.

"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 8:38-39 NASB
