ALBERT CURTIS CRUTCHFIELD
Albert Curtis Crutchfield, 90, formerly of Panama City, died Thursday, May 17, 2007 at his home in North Augusta, S.C. He was born June 17, 1916 in Geneva County, Alabama to Caleb & Sally Carr Crutchfield. He had been a resident of Panama City for 49 years before moving to North Augusta four years ago. He was a retired owner and general contractor with Crutchfield & Crutchfield. He was responsible for building many churches and schools in the area. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Augusta, and was a former member of the First Baptist Church, where he was a former Chairman of the Deacons, and was Deacon Emeritus. He is survived by his wife, Inez Parker Crutchfield of North Augusta, 2 daughters, Fleta Dean and husband, James of Panama City; Norma McCarthy and husband, Gene of North Augusta; 4 grandsons, Brad Dean and wife, Colee of Panama City; Curt Dean, Keith McCarthy and wife Jenny, all of Destin, FL; Kevin McCarthy of North Augusta, and 2 great grandchildren, Madison Dean and Bailey Dean. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Saturday prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Those desiring may make a contribution to the Run the Race Building Fund, First Baptist Church of Panama City, P.O. Box 1200, Panama City, FL 32402. The family will be at the home of Fleta Dean, 519 Oak Court, Callaway. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of First Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Men's Sunday School Class.
