ALBERT CANTU
Albert Cantu, 80, of Panama City, passed away on Father's Day, Sunday, June 19, 2011 in his home. He was born October 8, 1930 in Brownsville, Texas. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 30 years, retiring at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. After retirement from the Air Force, he taught at Haney Vocational School for 15 years. Mr. Cantu was a 50 year member Mason and was a member of the Shaddai Shrine Temple. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Cantu. He is survived by his children, Kevin L. Cantu, Kim Beth Rittinghouse and husband James, Michael A. Cantu and wife Kathy; seven grandchildren, Matthew Rittinghouse, Miles Rittinghouse, Brandon Cantu, Christian Cantu, Johnny Cantu, Michael Cantu, Matthew Cantu; three great grandchildren; numerous siblings; and his friend and companion of ten years, Runay Boltz. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Bay County Humane Society, P.O.
