Addie Jane Martin, 84, of Panama City, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019. She was born November 27, 1935 in El Dorado, Arkansas and was a longtime resident of Panama City. She was the retired owner of Smitty's & Addie's Barber Shop on Tyndall Parkway. She was preceded in death by her parents, James A. & Frances Bowen Stephens; son, Stephen Allen Martin, brother, James C. Stephens and a grandson, James Morgan Hoopes. She is survived by a son, Paul A. Martin; daughter, Elizabeth Jane Hoopes; four granddaughters, Shelby Ann Hoopes-Tice (Kenny), April Regina Reed, Adrian Lenore Martin, Angela Elise Reed (Wiley), sister, Helen Ruth Amason, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandson. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
