Adam Wayne Mincey, 42 years of age, passed away in his home on Thursday, November 2nd of 2017 in Pensacola, Florida. He was born July 25th, 1975 to Edward and Vicky Mincey in Panama City, Florida.
Throughout his life, Adam achieved a series of milestones including enlisting in the United States Army, acquiring a technical degree in nursing, and using that education in an expansive career before his health declined and was forced into early retirement. His interest in sports, music, and movies allowed him to have strong, lasting friendships throughout his life.
Adam has created an incredible legacy through his son, Jakob, which will be a constant reminder to the world of his intellect, faith, and heart. Other survivors include his father, Edward Mincey of Panama City; step-mother Brenda Mincey of Panama City; sister Lisa Myers of Wetumpka; brother in-law Jason Myers of Wetumpka; brother Steven Mincey of Panama City; sister in-law Rachel Mincey of Panama City; nieces Victoria and Violet Mincey of Panama City; as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who all loved Adam unconditionally.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vicky Mincey.
